Comparison of old modified roof and new TPO roof system under construction.
Cameron Machine & Tooling
The buildings consisted of 3 different roof types totaling approximately 60,000 S.F. The existing buildings had received severe hail damage in 2016. Original contractor was removed by the building owner due to poor performance and faulty workmanship. Valley Ridge Roofing and Construction was hired to work with the client’s insurance company and provide the following services:
- Initial Roof Evaluation
- Engineering Reports and Forensic Testing & Analysis
- Detailed Scope of Work Required for Insurance Settlement and Final Approval
- Construction Documents – Drawings/Specifications
- Temporary Repairs and Final Roof Installation
The project involved removal of existing bitumen roofs and insulation down to existing steel decking. New insulation board and 60 mill TPO roof system. The scope of work also required extensive structural steel and metal roof retrofit over old modified roof; code upgrades, new HVAC units, mechanical and interior/exterior modifications.
